You can request repeat prescriptions by completing the form that came with your medicines or by completing a form at reception. You can deliver the repeat request:
- In person,
- drop it through our letter box,
- send it by fax (837932),
- or use our on-line system. Existing users of this service, please note that the system has recently changed slightly and the new system will ask you for a Practice ID when you sign in. The Practice ID is 7309. This service should be otherwise unaffected.
We cannot accept telephone requests because of the risk of making an error. We no longer accept email requests: please use our on-line system – it is safer and more secure.
We can arrange for your prescription to go straight to your local pharmacy so that you can collect it from there. Please ask our receptionists to set this up for you. Alternatively you can collect the prescription from us during opening hours.
Please allow at least 3 working days to get more supplies of your regular medicines.
We are not open on bank holidays so please remember that these do not count as working days.
Our on-line repeat prescription service allows you to order your prescriptions from the comfort of your computer 24/7 and check the progress of your request.
Your medication will need to be reviewed, usually every six months or so as shown on your repeat slip. This is so that we can assess whether the medicine is still right for you or whether the dose needs to be altered. You need to make an appointment for the review – we will issue a reminder note as the date approaches. Further prescriptions will not be issued if you do not arrange to be reviewed.
