Repeat Prescriptions

Request a repeat prescription

We can arrange for your prescription to go straight to your local pharmacy so that you can collect it from there. Please ask our receptionists to set this up for you. Alternatively you can collect the prescription from us during opening hours.

Please allow at least 3 working days to get more supplies of your regular medicines.

By Post

Send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you or drop it through our letterbox.

We do not allow requests for repeat medication to be made by phone for safety reasons.  This is recommended practice.  We are sorry if this causes you inconvenience.

Medication Reviews

Your medication will need to be reviewed, usually this is an annual process, however it may need to be more frequent for some medications or if you have conditions such as chronic kidney disease. This is so that we can assess whether the medicine is still right for you or whether the dose needs to be altered. It may be possible to complete this via online questionnaire, or by speaking to a clinician either in person or over the phone.

If your review is overdue, this may impact on the speed and ease with which your prescriptions can be issued.

Repeat Dispensing

If you, or someone you care for, use the same medicines regularly, you may be able to benefit from repeat dispensing from your pharmacist.  This means you won't have to visit the surgery every time you need more medicines.
